As a Home Manager you become a vital member of a growing team that is revolutionizing the way residential real estate is marketed.
Showhomes’ mission is to help homeowners and their Realtors® sell vacant houses. But selling an empty house is difficult — buyers are often unable to visualize an empty space as a home. Your good taste and fine furniture enable potential buyers to picture a furnished, decorated Showhome as their home, making it far more likely that the home sells.
You profit by enjoying an enviable, yet eminently affordable lifestyle. The Realtor always finds the home in show-to-sell condition. The homeowner sells faster and for a higher price. Everyone in the Showhomes program receives genuine value.

Finally, a home that matches your furniture
Once you decide to become a Home Manager, a Showhomes Placement Coordinator will work to find the house that reflects the style of your furniture. Our professional decorator is available to assist you in the decorating process.
You keep the home in show-to-sell condition and allow Realtors to show the home to prospective buyers by appointment. You are not present during showings. Once the home sells, Showhomes will work to provide you with another home and to ensure a smooth move between Showhomes.
People become Home Managers for many reasons. Some need a short-term housing solution — those building or shopping for a new home, for instance — and benefit for only a few months. Many become so captivated by the lifestyle, with its variety and affordable luxury, that they continue year after year.
To qualify as a Home Manager you must:
- Complete a Home Manager application.
- Have fine furniture and accessories that will complement a Showhome.
- Pass our background checks — credit, criminal, and personal references.
- Be a non-smoker, and not own pets.
